Hello. In this post, let’s take a look at Peugeot‘s pure electric car E-3008, which can be used for 700 km on a single charge. Peugeot showcases the latest model design of the semi-midsize SUV, the 3008. This third-generation model is an electric car that has been reborn in a completely new coupe-type SUV style and uses the name ’E-3008‘.
The vehicle’s design reflects Peugeot‘s upgraded styling, with slimmer headlights and triple vertical LED DRL perched on both sides of the grille. The radiator grille shows a design that blends harmoniously with the color of the vehicle, making it unique overall. In addition, the ultra-modern alloy wheels, the glossy black cladding at the bottom of the body, and the heavily tilted rear glass seem to be the point.
In addition, you can see the futuristic design of alloy wheels and glossy black cladding, while the unusually designed rear spoilers are eye-catching.
Black was introduced into the roof and filler sections to highlight Peugeot’s unique design characteristics, while aerodynamic rooflines were highlighted with chrome accents leading to the tailgate end. Therefore, it looks like a coupe-type SUV.
The interior of the Peugeot E-3008 is noted by its unique 21-inch curved panoramic display, digital instrument panel, head-up display, and touch screen, which can be operated by the controller on the steering wheel, creating a futuristic atmosphere with high-quality fabrics and extensive use of ambient lighting.
One of the key features is the STLA medium architecture of the Stellantis Group, which was first applied by the Peugeot brand, replacing the existing EMP2 platform. The STLA platform is designed around electric vehicles, but it is also compatible with existing internal combustion engine vehicles.
The E-3008 battery capacity is divided into two, the 73 KWh version and the 98 kWh version, depending on the trim, which is larger than expected. The one-time charge driving distance seems to be 525km for the 73 KWh version and 700km for the 98 kWh version. It offers a dual-motor AWD option, and the electric motor‘s maximum output is well over 300 horsepower. The 3008, which used to be economical with a small engine, is now a high-performance SUV. The charging power is 160 kW on a rapid basis, which can be charged up to 80% in less than 30 minutes. It also supports the V2L function, which allows external electronics to operate with the power of the car, and the charging port is set up on the left rear wheel, just like the internal combustion engine model.
The trim runs on the Allur and GT, with plans to launch a 1.2-litre 48V mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. The price of the Peugeot E-3008 is expected to be higher than the current Peugeot 3008, which was offered in mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid form but did not have an EV version. Peugeot has pledged to offer an electric option for the full model by 2025 and to switch to a brand dedicated to electric vehicles in Europe by 2030. E-3008 We will start delivering customers from Europe at the end of this year, and the domestic launch schedule is undecided. So far, we’ve learned about Peugeot‘s pure electric SUV E-3008. Thank you.
